Synopsis

Carried on the lush string arrangement of his signature song, we are transported across the miles to Leicester, the English city in which Engelbert Humperdinck grew up. The story emerges of any entertainer who, through every kind of adversity including a six month, near death battle with tuberculosis, nights spent sleeping in public washrooms and long periods of going without food from lack of money, persevered until his extraordinary talent as a singer and entertainer gained him recognition around the world.
