Synopsis

The world around him seems to be moving on, but Benedito is unhappy with his own life and when he faces a great loss he discovers his ancestry in the lost figure of a relative, someone who carries the harshness of someone who knew how to survive. Set in a town in the countryside that could be anywhere in Brazil, Casebre is about recovering our identity, touching on themes such as faith, sexuality and mental health.
